Welcome to my blog where I try to post a photo taken somewhere in or around Bellefonte, PA each day or close to it. I also post various meme's here such as (ABC Wed., Skywatch Fri., Photo Meme's, Camera Critters, Weekend Mailbox) that I participate in each week, which are also focused in or around my town.

Military helicopter
Here's a shot of my oldest son sitting in this Army helicopter. He loves taking his son (my grandson) to these ceremonies. I have some photos of my grandson in a tank. My younger son was in the Marines and got out about a year ago. He's not as fascinated with it since he was in the military.

A cool picture! Do they ever take anyone up in the helicopters for rides? Thanks for all the great photos this week from the ceremony.
i've never been in a Heli-Copter..
A well captured & framed shot!
Lori, I'm not sure if they do or not but doubt it. These one's though they didn't.
Nice shot. I've flown in a helicopter twice and it was great. Much better views than from a small jet window.
Very cool chopper!
Perfect on almost-Memorial Day weekend. I do love helicopters, any kind of helicopters, would learn to fly one if I could afford it.
This is something I would love to learn to do though, I am sure, it would require significant investments of money and time:)
Lovely to have a copy of this in your records. A special moment. What a lovely ceremony!

I like this one. :)
Is your eldest son in the Army?
Glenn,
No my oldest son isn't. He's been talking about wanting to join. My younger son was in the Marines. Thanks for asking.
Finally Internet (Because I can have Internet only the weekend and the public holidays), I can visit your blog. This weekend I present Martel in version black and white. I prefer the photographs in b&w and you?
