Camera Critters and Pet Pride -Horses in Stall

Hope everyone is having a Happy Fourth of July! Here's my post for Camera Critters and Pet Pride.


My sister finally got her barn built and was able to take her horses home and not have them live at a boarder. Now she won't have to pay rent.

Sky Watch Friday -Lake Raystown Visitors Center

Photo's of Raystown Lake and the Visitors Center. It was a rainy day the other day when my sister and I was there.

Here's the entrance to the Raystown Visitors Center. I think this is a beautiful building.


Raystown is a man made lake and was built in the 70s. I used to live out at Raystown until I was around 11 years old when we had to move. Raystown from Bellefonte is about an hour and 15 minute drive.

Sky Watch Friday - Sail Away

I took this photo of this sail boat in Maine a couple of years ago. The poem is one that my sister wrote. I just changed the photo to black and white and put the poem on top of the photo. Just playing around with it.


Maine is well known for their light houses. I took this photo while I was there.

Mellow Yellow Monday - Popcorn

Today is Mellow Yellow Monday. I took this photo of the popcorn by getting on the inside of the bag. As you can see there is lots of butter on this. I don't care for popcorn but my grandson loves it. I wanted to get a photo of something different for today.

Camera Critters - Alpacas

Spring Run Mini-Golf course opened up again after it was closed a few years. It's in Pleasant Gap, PA, only about 5 minutes from Bellefonte. I posted a photo of the mini golf course for Sky Watch Friday. (see below) These Alpacas were shaven. They have long hair which you can see at the site I provided if you want to learn more about them.

Sky Watch Friday - Mini Golf Course

This mini golf course reopened this past weekend after being closed for a couple of years. It's just off of Pleasant Gap only a 5 minute drive from Bellefonte. It's called Spring Run Mini Golf Course.

ABC Wed. - "V" = Vehix Van and Velcro

What does the Vehix Van and Velcro have in common?
They're both my "V" words for ABC Wed. this week.
"V" is hard to come by but I am proud to announce I came up with two this week.

In Bellefonte there is a great toy store called Pure Imagination. This guy has toys that you can't find in places like Wal-Mart or some of the other stores. This bread you see here has velcro on it. When you slice it, it sounds like your really cutting it. It's really neat. My 6 yr. old grandson loves this. If you're ever in Bellefonte and want to buy some unique gifts for a birthday or for Christmas this is the place to go. You will never have to worry about whether or not someone else is getting the same thing. Unless of course you both go together, then by all means talk it over to see who's getting what.



"V" is hard to find but I also noticed this van in a parking space near Bellefonte.
