They had a dog show on Saturday for agility, best costumes, best trick and some demonstrations for rescue and talking about training. I only went for a little over an hour. I love dog shows. Everyone was allowed to take their dogs if they wanted to. This little cute dog was in front of me and I took the photo of him or her watching the dog show. I didn't take mine because he barks at everything, so I just decided not to. I could have taken him to demonstrate a trick. My dog does know how to bin himself. If, he pees on the floor, we will tell him to go bin himself. Most of the time he does this upstairs. Then, he'll go downstairs and get in his bin. He only punishes himself for about a minute, then gets out. If only he could close the door. LOL. We still find this amazing. Does your dog have any special trick?

We have something similar here on Maui...it's called a Bark In The Park, and the dogs come in themed costumes.
Sweet photo,I like the scarf and your photo about the tombstone for me is definitely something very,very new,I've never seen such a thing nor think that someone could have done it and have it,even with a Cellphone! Gosh,a Cellphone that is bizarre!

Yes my dog does a special trick. It's called sitting in my chair and refusing to get off.
As we have our baby grand daughter stopping with us at the moment, we placed a child-gate at the door to stop our Border Collie Barney from bounding in. It as been up 2 weeks and just last night he found out he can open it by pushing his nose under the top bar and shoving hard.
New tricks - old dog spring to mind. :)

Nice photograph. I never heard of a dog punishing himself before I read your blog. I suspect he thinks it is something else. Like a reward for peeing on the floor.

Abraham, No, he doesn't think it's a reward. He Hates the bin. That's why he only stays in there for a few minutes. But, if we are going somewhere and think he may do his business on the floor (like the runs or something), we will put him in the room (we have a small room for him with a bin but he rarely ever uses it). We don't close the bin door, he just has the run of this small room. Anyway, he hates it. When we come home, He Will punish us by having to go outside to pee about 6 times in an hour. He knows what the bin means because he looks upset.
What a cute dog and a great photo. I love his bandanna. He looks like he is really interested in watching something that is happening! I would have loved to see this dog show!

hehe nice scarf flowery ha. well our dogs dont know any trick. they know how to mess up the backyard like the dried leaves and everything but we loved them sooo much.
You can tell how a dog is feeling by looking at his tail - this one is having a ball!!!!
My dog does lots of tricks including walking backwards, but her best is PLAYING DEAD - we make our fingers into a gun and shoot her and she lies down on her back, Kids just fall about laughing when she does it. We are trying to make her close her eyes too!!!
Both my dogs know no tricks....at least there is hope for Clancy the black lab as he is still young.....very cute....I love anything about dogs ....
