Barn
My grandson (age 4) calls this the blown up barn when we play the "what do you see game" in the car when we go somewhere. We have to time it just right so he gets to see it. He likes pointing it out. But sadly, in reality this barn had caught on fire. I'm not sure how long along, I believe several years ago. It sits out in a field along the by-pass.

j'aime beaucoup ces vieilles fermes, une belle photo, digne de faire partie de la collection de Faye's.
I like much these old farms, a beautiful photograph, worthy to belong to the collection of Faye' S.
beautifull post
It's nice to look at something through a childs eyes now and then, imagination runs riot but can lead to great things
"Blown Up
Barn", I like that.
...Glad you got yourself a cell, Barb ;)
It looks like a set of bookends.
If you hadn't told us the barns were burned down, I would have assumed them to be old structures.
That said, I am totally in love with the layering of green and landscape in the photo, from the grass to the hills and then the mountain in the back.
Whenever we travel to Ohio, I love to look at all of the old barns. While we were there last weekend, I said to my husband that I'm amazed at the number of decaying barns that are still around on farmland. They may not be useful for anything, but they add to the scenery.
I love old barns...too bad this one burnt!
I hate it for the owners, but that's an interesting thing to look at. I love the way kids think, "the blown up barn."
This barn actually caught fire last year during hunting season. It sits along route 220 on the rock view prison grounds. The barn was a working barn until the fire, if you look closely you can see the badly burned equipment in the front.
