Clothesline

I took this photo of my mom's clothesline. She still hangs alot of her clothes out in the summer months. But, now she hangs them on hangers before she hangs them out. That way when she takes them down, they are already on hangers.

What a good idea to put them on hangers. Then when they are dry you just move them to the closet. Clothes smell so fresh when they are dried outside!

I remember Jane doing this once, I ended up with a white shirt that smelt great, but had a tell tale rust mark on the collar.. not quite as dry as Jane thought when sheput it away.

A great country and small town tradition! One I miss now that I live in the city.

I too hang out our clothes starting in the spring until winter; I love the fresh smell on our clothes when I bring them inside! I have been putting clothes on hangers before hanging them outside for over 20 years now and the clothes dry nicely.

I like this simple everyday shot; are you going to scrapbook this picture?

Scrapbooking is my passion and I love to create pages of the “every day” kind of pictures not just the highlights of our life.

Mrs. Salty, I probably will scrapbook this one since it's my mom's clothes and I also love scrapbooking. A great way to relax.
