Welcome to my blog where I try to post a photo taken somewhere in or around Bellefonte, PA each day or close to it. I also post various meme's here such as (ABC Wed., Skywatch Fri., Photo Meme's, Camera Critters, Weekend Mailbox) that I participate in each week, which are also focused in or around my town.

Nothing smells quite the same as an outhouse, with a grape vine growing behind it or a lilac bush in front. Spiders, bees and maggots galore you see, where you tootle and tea.
Hello there! Thank you for visiting my site. I've popped in here as you see, and have enjoyed browsing your photos. I'll be back, and have added your blogspot to my favorites! I'm a fellow Pennsylvania, too--Harrisburg!
I hope they never take it down. These wonderful icons are great way to have a glimpse of the past.
Hi Barb! Loved the mix between green and purple on your last pictures; and the amazing clothesline is still common in some old quarters of Lisbon. Quity touristy here... ;)
Thanks for your comment on Blogtrotter, where I’m still around Rabat, but preparing to move to Casablanca… ;))
Hope you have a great weekend!
Hi Barb,
It's great to see an item from the past like this. They were quite common in this area and a few are still around.
Great spot to lock the kids in if they become annoying! :) [Kidding!]
I'm so thankful that we don't have to use them!!!
Ah yes, we had one of those on the farm where I grew up in York County.
Love those lilacs!
I grew up in West Virginia and my great grandmother never had indoor plumbing...when we visited, we used the outhouse or the chamber pots...and then took them to the outhouse....the words that scared me to death were "watch out for copperheads!"...for a city girl....not so much fun....many times wished I never had to relieve myself! cute photo.
