Welcome to my blog where I try to post a photo taken somewhere in or around Bellefonte, PA each day or close to it. I also post various meme's here such as (ABC Wed., Skywatch Fri., Photo Meme's, Camera Critters, Weekend Mailbox) that I participate in each week, which are also focused in or around my town.

Isn't it amazing...if you could invent something and the mouse trap is already invented, then the shopping cart would be next best. Now, our stores have half-size carts or half as long and deep. A sign of our depressed times I guess with gasoline nearly $4.00 a gallon and small eggs $2.00 a dozen.
Old Man Lincoln makes a great point--who can afford to fill one of these anymore? Great shot. The orderliness is very peaceful.
We call these trolly's.. and ours also come in different sizes... we might use the largest ones for what we call "The Big Shop".. then a small one if we are shopping for fresh foods in between "The Big Shop". The also have special ones for mothers and baby's, then theres the ones for the disabled. We also have hand baskets as well.
I was watching a news item this week about shops thinking of have 'Sat Navs' fitted so you can find your way around the bigger super markets... how daft is that?
Barbs.. Just a quick footnote to say thank you for all your visits and comments. I just want YOU to know I do appreciate them and the time involved to doing so.

I repeat, because I feel so bad... I didn't know Mama had surgery.
I've been in Blog Land less, since getting a spring-time-winter-cold. I am so sorry I didn't know this {about Mama} though.
But she is well. That's the only thing that matters.
Hugs,
Mari-Nanci
I like the in a row shot.
Wow, nothing to say about this picture. O, yes I have something, they are really large for todays prices. lol
I like the perspective of those row of shopping carts!

Toronto's Abused Shopping Carts.
Well i think that if you felt the need to take the photo it was ment to be, I just got home from grocery shopping at Super Walmart, first time i have done any big shopping there, cause it is 15 miles away, thinking that i might get things cheaper. Well so much for thinking, everything is hight there too, The sign of the gas prices for sure. So what does one do, stop driving as much? or stop eating as much? Well maybe both
My grocery store just got brand new carts....it is heavenly to have a cart that goes where and when you push it....I like your shot.
I'm glad you took it, Barb. I like it.
