Seagulls at Wal-Mart

I was feeding the seagulls at the Wal-Mart parking lot and snap a few photos.

Camera Critters - Quacky Visitors

We were just sitting out in the driveway minding our own business and we had some visitors stroll in.
Like any good host you like to ask your visitors if they'd like anything to eat or drink. Here's my grandson feeding our new visitors...

They ate...

Then they decided to check out a few chalk drawings...

Rounded the corner and then they were gone.

Camera Critters - Baby Robins

Baby robins in their nest. They make a nest every year under our porch. I never touch them, I just hold the camera over the nest and take the photo.

ABC Wed. - "E" = Empty Nest

My grandson, age 6, took this photo in the summer. All the bird nests are empty now. The birds like to build a nest under our porch every spring. It's been really cold and for the past two weeks snowing heavily. We had about another 2 to 3" of snow last night. We have snow flurries this morning yet. I bet it's been a hard winter for the birds if they didn't fly south.

Camera Critters - Parrot

This parrot was in a floral shop and she gave me permission to take this photo. He was eating a piece of food and sitting on top of one of the leaf decorations. If you enlarge it you can see what he's eating.

Tail Feathers

My grandson, age 6, took this photo of a robin sitting on her nest. There are two eggs in there.

Mellow Yellow Monday - American Goldfinch

Here's a close up. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this bird is called an American Goldfinch.

This is the same bird on the ground eating a sunflower seed.
