Purple and White House in Coburn

I loved the color on this house in Coburn, PA and I think the porch looks wonderful. About a 30 to 40 minute drive from Bellefonte.

really different -- you really like the purple? :)

Yes, I think it looks cute the way they have it here. I'm not sure I'd like it if it was all purple with no white on it.

That is certainly a lovely porch...
Between us, if you like colourful houses, then you should really consider visiting Alentejo or rural Algarve, here in Portugal. The houses are all white and have frames of yellow, blue or green around windows and doors. They just look lovely...

Very interesting porch! Those window frames look really pretty. It looks like she has a porch swing in purple too. Thank you for sharing this. It is amazing how many interesting things you can see when you start looking!

The purple is a nice, colorful touch. I like the stove too. That would feel good on a cool fall evening if you were sitting outside!

Beautiful house. I so agree. Very brave to use purple but it really works. Nice one.

Nice porch, but as much as I like purple, I am not too sure about using it on porch columns. I am stuck on white and cream for those.

This is an interesting country assortment for on a front porch.
I wouldn’t have thought to put purple with the white but it works for them.

Very Interesting! It is plain to see the owners take a lot of pride in this house and have spent a great deal of attention to decorating detail. You did a great job capturing this.

I also loved your shot"Cloud Reflection". You composed it perfectly!

Definitely looks like a good sittin' porch. I'd choose the swing there myself.

I grew up in the big blue house beside that on the right, that is a bed bed breakfast now.

There use to be great pines in the middle of the two houses and owls would hoot in the middle of the night.

The trees I believe are gone now, its nice to see how the yellow house is fixed up, as a kid about two or three family's lived in it and the person who owned it let the house go to hell.

Good stuff.
