This seems to be an older grave site outside of Rebersburg.
And, this one more modern.
Welcome to my blog where I try to post a photo taken somewhere in or around Bellefonte, PA each day or close to it. I also post various meme's here such as (ABC Wed., Skywatch Fri., Photo Meme's, Camera Critters, Weekend Mailbox) that I participate in each week, which are also focused in or around my town.

Barb, is the older graveyard attached to the newer one, or does it stand alone? I ask because we have tons of old graveyards here that are just in someone's yard. . .a family cemetery, usually. There's one that's actually in the middle of a road.
Love the look of the older yard, the new one nice but theres something draws me to the older ones..
Very timely entry, with Halloween and all.
And yes, the old ones are more interesting. Like older houses, to me, anyway. And..... ,-)

I agree, I like the older ones too. The older one isn't beside the newer one. It maybe a family plot because it sat along the road but looked to be more on someone's property.
I like the simplicity of American cemeteries.
I think the older is more beautiful. And I'm with Marie.
Old graveyards are so interesting. Nice captures.
Love em, but the older one is an eye catcher.I love to roam around grave yards.
They say, and I forget who "they" are, that if you see a name and read it and then say it that the person whose name you said, is not forgotten after all. I think of that every time I go into a graveyard. But then I think also of the billions of human beings who were here, smelled the breezes and rain coming and going, and who looked up at the sunsets and stars and don't know any of their names. They mortal remains have vanished and no trace is left anywhere. It is a shame to not be able to say their names and remember them for the people they were. I think of those kinds of things too.
These looks like beautiful cemeteries. A Nice place to rest!
I find the pic depressing (my mom expired this May) but I really like Oldmanlincoln's comment.
