Somebody really loves that red truck! It's perfect for this catchy autumn display. I enjoyed looking at your photos from Poe Valley, the arts and craft show, and your other blog. Isn't this a great way to make the ultimate scrapbook? Thanks for visiting my blog. Oh, I almost forgot, I enjoyed your 8 Random Facts, too. Since I got tagged 8 times, I took the liberty of putting a lengthy list of random facts on my post for Oct. 19. I like that tagging because it's a great way to learn more about the people who visit and/or whose posts I so enjoy.
Officially we don't celebrate Halloween here in Oz, as it's an autumn event, so i think is basically a northern hemisphere thing. However, commercially, it is creeping... many shops have a lot of Halloween dress-up items, as well as craft things.Another way for them to make money I think.
Hmmmm. . .I am not a fan of Halloween . . .not for any religious or philosophical reason. I just have never been a big fan. I think it has to do with the fact that I grew up in northern Ohio, and by Halloween, it was so cold (or rainy or snowy) that we had to wear coats over our costumes. . .Not much fun.
I do, however, love autumn's warm weather and beautiful (usually) colors. . . .and apples
An excellent classic fall shot. Good work!
Beautiful shot!
Things I love about Autumn:
1: Fall Colors
2: Sweater Weather

1. the bite in the air
2. fabulous tree colors

4. pumpkin pie
5. my birthday

Hi Barb - I have a question... actually I have two....
1. What's Autumn?
2. What's Halloween?
I must lead a sheltered life her in the tropics!!!!
Jules, Autumn is basically fall, the leaves turn bright colors, cooler weather, etc.
Halloween is where the kids dress up in costumes and go around to each house to get candy. People try to scare each other, you try and find the great pumpkin, etc.
If anyone else has anything to add to this, please do so.
Today's post on Hyde Daily Photo is Pumpkins Galore and I've included links to more than sixty pumpkin posts on blogs around the world including your own. Happy halloween to everyone.
what a nice picture..
Happy Halloween
cheers from Canada
