This view sits a top Pine Grove Mills. There is a pull off area you can stop and sit. It's about a half hour drive from Bellefonte.
Update on Phil the groundhog. Spoken like a true groundhog, Phil did see his shadow yesterday. So, we will have six more weeks of winter. I think he sees his shadow every year.
Welcome to my blog where I try to post a photo taken somewhere in or around Bellefonte, PA each day or close to it. I also post various meme's here such as (ABC Wed., Skywatch Fri., Photo Meme's, Camera Critters, Weekend Mailbox) that I participate in each week, which are also focused in or around my town.

It certainly is a long way down there to the fields. A nice photograph that probably looks totally different in the summer.
It would be a great place to sit and see that land laid out infront of you like that... as benches go this one as a great view
Looks like a lovely spot to sit and reflect upon any topic!
Cold but wrapped up would be nice to sit there, summer great to sit there, spring and autumn fantastic to sit there for flowers and colours.
...and what a view it is even snow covered. About Phil - there are contrasting reports. The bear the Hungarians look to for predictions, stayed out and played - how will this work? The weather from your side of the pond generally works its way over in about a week's time - and if you have more winter, how can we have spring? stay tuned. :)
This is a lovely shot....very very nice....
Looks like a great place to sit and think. Though this time of year, you'd have to think fast or freeze to death.
I worked for PennDot Huntingdon county for a time. This is where we turned around in winter when plowing. Centre county would plow the side going down to Pine Grove Mills, and Huntingdon County would do the side going toward McAlevys Fort.
