Bar Stool Race
This guy is advertising his bar stool race when he was in the Bellefonte Cruise. Notice the actual bar stools on these and the high handles. I hadn't seen these before and thought they looked interesting.
I just want to say, thanks to all on visited my site while I was on vacation. I was able to still post a few times but it was hard using the computer with everyone else in the hotel. I'm actually surprised they had a computer to use. I really enjoyed my vacation and the weather was wonderful. We went to San Francisco, CA. I may post a few photos if anyone would like to see them.

Bellefonte Cruisin Around
This photo is in the streets at the Bellefonte Cruise. Everyone goes around the block again, and again, and again.
I am posting this from the hotel. They have free use of one for ten minutes at a time, if you can get on. I won't be able to reply to anyone's post till I get back but will be looking at all your posts. Thanks for looking.

Back to the 50's
Here's our waitress when we go on our vacation, serving burgers and shakes. Just kidding except for the vacation part. Does anyone remember a waitress bringing their food out to the car back in the 50's? I don't, but my mom and dad tell me they do. This was at the Bellefonte Cruise.
I will be posting back here on Wednesday. See you then.

Chrome
I took these while at the Bellefonte Cruise this past weekend. Once a year they have a cruise where anyone can enter their vehicle and ride around the block while everyone gathers the streets like their watching the parade. There are judges who will judge them on different things. I'm not sure how they do the judging. After the cruise which last maybe an hour or two, there is a 50's sock hop.
The next day they close off the streets in Bellefonte for anyone to just go around and look at the different cars, trucks and motorcycles. It gives everyone a chance to rev up their vehicles and show off the hard work they put into them.
Lots of chrome and spic and span.

The Auction Barn
Here's the auction barn at the Belleville market. An Amish guy is leaning on the barn door, but inside they're alot more people strolling through to look at the livestock. And, inside on the top of this barn is a restaurant. You go through a different entrance.
Here on this photo a few guys at the other end of the barn just relaxing and chating. Socializing is the thing to do here.
And finally here's what you see in the barn, this cow peeking out.

Alot of the Amish go there with their homemade things to sell. If you want to learn more about the Amish people and their lifestyle you can go here: http://www.800padutch.com/amish.shtml This photo is where they hitch up their horses while they're at the sell. I'll have a few more photo's that follow.

Cat & Mouse or you tell me
This plant sits along side my sisters house. She said it is called a cat & mouse plant, but I'm not sure if she was just joking or not. I don't remember seeing them but maybe have in the stores and never payed much atttention to them. At least I've never seen them in a barrel the way she has them. Does anyone know the name of this plant or is it really called a cat & mouse plant?

My brother's Walkway / Pump & Well
My brother took a barrel (or whatever you call it) and added the pump to it, along with a walkway he made. I believe he has this working at times so the water runs out of the pump to make it look like a fountain.
Note from yesterday: Our phone lines and water were out from about 8 pm on Friday till about 9 pm on Saturday. Both are back on and I'm glad. It's amazing how you miss the computer right away when you can't get on.

Flowers
This photo is another photo I took at Boalsburg in someone's back yard. It is actually a yard behind the windchimes and the business I was taking photos of. Please Note: There was a big storm here in my area last night and my phone line and computer are down. They say they are working on it but if I don't answer that is why. Hopefully, I'll be back online soon. They say by Monday night at the latest. Argh! Hope it's before that. I'm doing this at the library. Thank goodness I have a few photos to fall back on.

Walkway to fountain
This is the walkway you come up upon of the fountain I posted yesterday. When you walk back you can go under this walkway and it would take you to their parking area. But when you first come up to this walkway, you make a right and then you see the small area they had with the fountain you seen yesterday.

Looking through the rails.
This is the same walkway as yesterday, just a different perspective. This is sitting on my mom's porch. If you look at yesterday's photo you'll see the railing on the left hand side. When you walk down the sidewalk you go into their garage that my dad built. Or, if you want, you can walk around the garage and they put a sidewalk on the side instead of walking in the grass.

Theme Day: Looking out the Bedroom window
Today is theme day, looking out the bedroom window. This isn't looking out my window but what someone else would see from their's. I went up to a neighborhood that's sit's on a hill in Bellefonte and this is what they would see.
Here's the photo I was trying to decide on. Figured I should just post today. This was a scene looking out my window Saturday, May 26th. The neighbors tree was struck by lightning and it split. They have it cleaned up now, it was six days ago.
If you want to see more of today's theme, here is someother city daily bloggers who are participating.
