The Round Barn

This is an actual round barn located near Centre Hall. It's about 20 minutes from Bellefonte. This is probably one of the most photographed barns around here.

Round barns fascinate me.
There is at least one here in Ontario, and now I can't remember where we were on our travels when we saw it..!

Circle is the geometrical shape that has the most symmetry in a plane. I wonder if we will have ever find a spherical barn. Spheres have perfect symmetry so a spherical barn would inspire awe. Thanks for having visited my Miami blog.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I appreciate it. Love the round barn. It is not hard to see why it is photographed so often.

Take care.

That's picturesque; I'd take photos of it too if I happened upon it.

Wow. Round barn picture is great. Round barns are becoming as hard to find as a lemon on a peach tree.

Interesting structure. The only round barn I knew of is located near Gettysburg and now used for a gift/fruit market.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. It is nice to hear from a fellow Keystoner.

That is a beautiful photo and a beautiful barn. The color contrasts are spectacular.

I bet it costs a fortune to maintain the paint job on the building.
