Straw already? Or was this last year? Nice photo and I like the view of the countryside.

We in Bosnia stack hay quite differently to you. We do it in pyramid shape.

Abraham, maybe it is straw. I always get them mixed up.

Lilly, that's a interesting way to stack them. Maybe you can take a photo of yours.

Abraham, I forgot to say, I'm not sure if they are last years. I'm assuming it would be too early from this year. Maybe these people didn't gather theirs up last year. I really hadn't thought about it except it would be a neat picture.

Take it from an 'ol country boy this is neither hay nor straw but is last years cornstalks baled into round bales. Farmers refer to it as corn fodder and use it for cow feed.

Nice capture in a beautiful setting.

Barb,
In my next post, I'll have the new questions for "the Interview".

Thanks for participating, it's cool what we can learn about other people through this!

Salty Dawg, Thanks for setting us straight on the bales.

Some like to use it to mulch their fields so perhaps it's from last year, ready for people this year.

I think it's a nice shot. Looks peaceful.
