I hope they are stained with a good product; would hate to take care of them each year by repainting. That's a lot of wood!
I thought it was framing for a new construction! I had an apartment once with wood steps in the back - not so many, but it was big for that apartment, and I just loved it.
Beautiful steps but glad I don't have to climb them.
