Snake on Head

This lady was talking about this snake and how it could wrap around her and choke her, it most likely wouldn't. She was demonstating that you could wear it as a hat and he would not bite her. It's a non-poisonous snake. My grandson got to touch it. They left all the kids touch it at the end if they wanted to. He got to touch a gator too, but was worried about the gator having tape around it's mouth. I told him, it was so it wouldn't bite. He's only 5 yrs old. Anyway, they discussed both, so I will post a gator soon. (Didn't realize I had a "No" sign that I could have used for theme day. It says, "No hoppin around.")

UGH. I'm about to leave for my second on-campus stay for my MFA program, and one of the books we have to read by next weekend is "Salvation on Sand Mountain." The book is a nonfiction account of the religion that handles snakes as part of their service. It freaks me out!

I held a snake a couple years ago. I can't imagine putting one on my head. Ha!

I played too :)

That is really cool! I must admit, I would have been much more afraid of the gator than the snake. I'm not so much afraid of snakes, but petrified of gators and sharks.

Reminds me of the "Ball Pythong" that I used to take care of. They do make interesting pets.
