Allegators - Camera Critters

Allegator teeth...

Some of these gators had huge feet...

Allegator pit...

These allegators were at Gator Land in Myrtle Beach, SC. They have stations set up where everyone could watch the gators jump up for their food. Those gators seem to know what time it was, because before they came out to feed them, they all started getting up to go around it to be fed.

Great photos - thanks for sharing! I love the idea of the stations... but I'd be a bit fearful to be their food *g*

My critter can be found here today. =)

A good series on an interesting subject. I liked the squirrel photo in the previous post, too!

Hi Barb!
So you're taking Isabella's place on the Gator side... ;)) Nice pictures! The squirrel is gorgeous and the parasailing is also a tremendous shot! It looks you had a great time at Myrtle Beach...
Thanks for your comments on Blogtrotter, now at the Michigan Law School! Left a reply to your last comment there!

They have very pointy teeth! I saw huge ones at Myrtle Beach too... not at Gaotorland... but at Huntington Beach State Park... in the wild. Don't ever mess with those creatures, it just ain't worth it!

I was a Gator once. In Junior high school, our school mascot was the Gator. Nice photos. Pappy

We didn't do anything but have a kind of open house for family. The photos were taken by our kids.

I never have liked alligators for some reason.

Thanks for visiting my blog today and for leaving a comment there.

Thanks again.

Every time we go to the zoo I see the alligators' teeth but never thought of looking at their feet. Guess I'm more worried about being bit than kicked. They do have big feet, don't they?

Great pictures!! I have been to the aligator farm in St. Augustine so many times, field trips etc, and I know what you mean, those creatures KNOW what time it is;) LOL

We've got a baby one living in the retention pond in front of our neighborhood...still haven't seen the Mama...yet, but I know she has to be there somewhere!

Now those are some big gators!!!
It looks like you had a fabulous vacation, horsing around and all :)

Hello from Colorado. Great gator pictures. Guess that's one animal I will not get to post on my blog unless they over take Colorado.

At first I was in shock as I grew up in Bellefonte and I never saw allegators!!... however it has been a long time since I lived there... then I saw that they are "from" SC!... great pictures...

When the page opened and I saw the gator and the "Alligator teeth..." I immediately thought of Little Red Riding Hood and the big bad wolf, except w/ gators... "the better to eat you w/!" Wow - they really are huge. Never seen one in real life & I don't really think I want to - too scary looking.

I don't want to be anywhere near them!!!

For a very good reason, I don;t want to be close to these gators!

Yikes!! What scary looking creatures! I'd hate to come across one of them in the wild. You got some really great shots of them. I like the picture of the alligator's hand (paw?).

Not only fantastic photos, but also great details.
And of course gators!

Are you allowed to keep a pet gator? I think that I’d like one!

I have a confession to make... this is one of the few critters I am actually afraid of. Sharks and gators scare the heck outta me. These are awesome photos though!
