Sky Watch Friday - Hershey Park Chocolate World
We went to Hershey Park to see the chocolate factory. We had to go through the chocolate factory three times because our grandson loved it. He would have gone more if we would have left him. The tour is free. Beautiful blue sky today (Thursday).

What?! There's a Chocolate Factory?? With happy chocolates on top?? And it's free? Do you get free samples?
Bryan, Yes. When you come out of the factory you get a little sample at the end.
They're so happy! lol
Cute shot! Always wanted to go to Hersheys...never made it...how much chocolate did you eat?
Beautiful blue sky and chocolate it doesn't get much better than that.
Great picture. As a chocoholic, this is one of my favorite places to visit. Although I must say it has been many, many years since going there.
I'm willing to accompany your grandson as many times as he wants! :D
Mmmmm… chocolate!
My Jane would love this place.. she is a chocoalic.. this is a very happy looking picture and bought a smile to my face..
I hope you and all your family have a great Easter ...
Tom
Someone told me that the factory no longer gives out free Hershey bars. I just can't believe times are that tough. I remember when the 50 cent bar today was a nickle.
I grew up in Harrisburg and visited both Hershey Park and the factory many times. Waaaay back then, you could walk through the factory on a little boardwalk, and got LOTS of samples when you left. No Disney-type hype, just the basics!!
Lol! This was really a happy sky watch :)
Happy easter to you :)
Never been there. People who have, say they can smell the chocolate coming in to town.
Jacob, I had some fudge and I've got to say they make the best. Yum! I savored every bite. Plus the free samples.
Hilda, Thanks but after three trips going through you're ready say okay lets do something else. You get the hershey song in your head and can't get it out.
Abe, I'm not sure about the hershey bars but when we were there, they gave out tiny samples of chocolate covered nut bar. I'm not sure what it was called but it was good.
Bibi, I remember that old time when you could walk through and see the workers making the chocolate in the factory. You can't see the workers now. They have you on a turn table car and you ride through with the singing cows along the way, the hershey song, and of course the photo at the end for you to buy if you want it. It was $9.95 for a 4x6 and a 5x7 cost $14.95. So they make up for the tour being free. We didn't buy the photo.
B Squared, Yes you can smell the chocolate but after you're there a bit it blends in and you can't seem to notice anymore.
Everyone, I'm a chocoholic too. It would be hard not to buy anything there. I wish I would have brought more fudge home. We also went into the 3D cartoon where they talk about chocolate and you have hershey kisses coming out at you. It was cool. That one you pay for but it's not expensive either. I think it was around $5.95 per person. The hershey park wasn't open yet.
Yummy chocolates, I will really feel in heaven if I get a chance to go there and greeted by chocolates from the sky. Thanks for sharing
Ohhhhhhhhhhh Heaven!
I was all excited, until you described the tour.
But those chocolate guys on the roof sure look happy to see you!
