Here's some horses that were grazing. The guards use these horses when they take the prisoners out into the field. I've seen them on them before while driving by.

I never thought of horses inside a prison. If they are locked up behind bars, I guess the horses are prisoners, too.

The horses look so calm and quiet, nobody would say they were inside a prison: probably because they are not subject to death penalty...

Glad to know another function of horses. I have asked people why farmers raise horses.
