A tulip poplar leaf. They are some of my favorite trees.

You and I were on the same wave length today - I have golden leaves on my post too - although it is definitely not autumn here!!!!
It's really nice, but kind of sad. I don't want the autumn to be this close. :)
I have noticed that the leaves are already turning around here, we've had such cool nights all July.
Interesting mix of textures.
I was thinking just yesterday (I'm reading this on Monday 30th) that it won't be too long before temperatures start dropping in the northern climes.
Won't make much difference down here if FL until late November though.
