Construction in PA

This is the view around PA most of the time in the summer months. Construction everywhere. This happens to be the construction right now right past Benner Pike at the intersection at Lemont.

It seems like there is always lots of construction in PA. At least when I go home on interstate 80 there is always a lot! I like your photo with the orange and white panels on the ground. Very interesting.

Lately I think summer season equal with construction season. When you go everywhere, sooner or later you find those orange barrels in the road.

In and around Chicago the saying is " There are 2 season...winter and construction" so I am very familiar with this!

bonne remarque de Neva, j'adore. Ici pareil, l'ete = les travaux, le seul moment où on pourrait ne pas avoir d'embouteillages , et bien que des travaux ;o(

good remark of Neva, I adore. Here similar, the summer = work, the only moment when one could not have congestions, and although work ;o(

Two seasons, there, huh? Winter and construction.

Here there is construction all year round. I'm not sure which is best.

This looks like all the places I've ever lived. I'd love to be in a place, even for a while, where there were no road or even lane closures. But, I'm just dreaming.

I can tell this isn't Florida because of the guy riding his bike there. Despite the perfect weather for being a bicycle friendly place, Florida is a nightmare of a place to try to use your bicycle as a vehicle. A few brave souls do it anyway, but they get honked and shouted at around here. I'd love to ride mine to work, but I honestly don't think I'd live a week.

I think road construction is a never ending thing here where I live. A man was killed -- a worker -- yesterday when one of the dump trucks backed over him. Lots of accidents like this but this is the first fatality of this season.

I liked the bike rider trying to decide if it is time to go or not.

What a terribly familiar scene! Construction seems like a never-ending cycle around here...

Familiar scene out here too. Sweltering in a car waiting for my turn to go when the construction crew says ok. Ah such wonderful summer days.

I guess it looks like this everwhere. :(
