ABC Wed. - "F" = Flowers and Front Porch

Today is ABC Wed. and It's the letter "F" for flowers and front porch. I really like this. Normally I would think pink isn't a great color for a porch but they have this one done really cute. I would think that they are fake flowers since it's been really cold here this winter.

No Pets Allowed

I thought this sign was cute. It says; "No Pets Allowed" but then they add "Except for seeing eye dogs." I think it should have read, "Seeing Eye Dogs Only." But, then what do I know? LOL.

Mellow Yellow Monday - Yellow Peep

My grandson made this for me. It's an egg that is hatching and then you can see the peep inside. They are studying how chickens hatch in school for kindergarten. He loves to create.

This was taken in 2005. I believe at the Pittsburgh Zoo. Since I posted a elephant photo, How many of you have read the book "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen? Even if you don't like the circus, this is a must read. A wonderful book of characters.

Mellow Yellow Monday - Tumble Bus

The tumble bus is a gym on wheels. Anyone can rent out this bus for several hours and they will come and let the kids play in it.

Christmas Bulbs Still Up in Feb.

I was going through Bellefonte today and noticed that this tree was still decorated with Christmas bulbs. If you enlarge you can see the different color bulbs.

Sky Watch Friday - Duck Flying

Sky Watch Friday is today. It's 13 degrees (little after 8 am), here but it's suppose to warm up some on Saturday. We may get a heat wave around 40 degrees. I hope so, it's been really cold here. The windchill at night makes it much colder. Last night it was around zero with windchill making it colder.
