I noticed this place with all these hats hanging off the porch. Not sure if they are hanging there for any particular reason or not.

Boalsburg Bicycle Memorial

This sits along the road near Boalsburg as a Memorial for someone who had gotten killed there. I'm not sure of the story behind this.

Bicycles Hanging Upside Down

I was out taking a few photos when I noticed these bicycles hanging upside down.

Snowman

It is bitter cold here today, down to 9 degrees and windchill around 0 degrees. We made this snowman in front of our house a few weeks ago, but I had posted other things. He has golf ball eyes, a carrot nose and sticks for arms and mouth.

I know some of you want to see inside The Old Oak Tavern. Not sure if I will go inside or not, but will try sometime if I can.

McAlevys Fort is about a 40 minute drive from Bellefonte.

For me I guess it would be #2 for flippant about them. I make them, but tend to go off them, and I don't worry about them if I do.

A few of my New Years resolutions this year would be to:
-Lose weight, eat healthy and exercise.
-Get organized and lose the clutter.
-Put together my memoirs for my children and grandson in book form. I have stories done, but need to revise them, and then get them into a book. I'm not doing it to sell, just for them.

All these ice sculptures are from "First Night State College". State College is about a 20 minutes drive from Bellefonte. I still have four more days of them to post. I didn't take a photo of them all, but a few. I still have George Washington, Wishing Well, Love Birds and PA Elk that I will posting. Hope you come back to see them all, and hope you don't get sick of them.

Ice Lock Sculpture

This was my grandson's favorite sculpture. He was pretending to have his arm in the lock.

Ice Slide

A slide made totally from ice. The kids were sledding on this. My grandson didn't want to go down on it. I was glad after I noticed how muddy it was at the end of it.

Ice Boat

Here's an ice boat sculpture from New Years Eve they do for State College First Night. I have several photos I took and will post more of them tomorrow. State College is about a 20 min. drive from Bellefonte.
