It looks like Mr Black Crow is standing on a pile of gray feathers. But when I enlarged it I realized it was just a pile of old snow. Great shot!
I was inundated with them last fall! One's OK, though.

There are a lot of them around here - interesting birds, for sure. A couple of years ago, they broke one pane of a two-pane window and pulled out the weatherstripping. A mess - had to hang all sorts of stuff from the eaves to keep them away from windows. No trouble since, though.
I recently did a post about crows and they really are interesting creatures that don't deserve the bad rep they get.
