I really don't know what these are called except they are those things that attach to your clothes if you get to close. Anyone else remember these? Do you know what the proper name is for them?

Burdock! I remember them well.

I, too, remember them well from when I was little. . . .We called them stickers. ;-)
Oh Wow! This is so pretty. They're usually annoying but they look pretty here.
Are these also called "cockle burrs?"
I know they are called Burdocks but I know these as 'Sticky Bobs'. Any one who astried to untangles these from their dogs backs or ears will know thats a good name for them.

Ya, I think burdock, too. Hard to tell without perspective- huge leaves, purple blooms in Summer, 3-4 foot tall? I used to call them bird dog (if you have one,they' ll come home covered with 'em : )
I know that if your pet goes thru long grass they come back full of them.lol.
