From a site I was looking at, it said: "Until 1985, the Skyliner entertained guests at Roseland Park in Canandaigua, New York. Fortunately, the Boyer Candy Company saved it from destruction and relocated it here in 1987."

It looks like an older one and not so high and mighty as some of the newer ones.
je trouve cela tres beau, une belle architecture tous ces maneges, mais il faudrait me payer tres cher pour que je monte dessus ;o)
I find that very beautiful, a beautiful architecture all these maneges, but it would be necessary to pay me very expensive so that I go up above ;O)
Seems scary too... uuuhhhhhhh!!!!!
It's great to see one of the older wooden structure being saved. I remember one like this from when I was child, it was at Belle Vue Zoo in Manchester. I remember the noise it made was terrific.
That looks like a classic roller coaster and not too scary to ride. I like the old wooden ones.
Your blog is very nice:)

Some great photos again this week, I've enjoyed it! We have a permanent fairground here, because we are a seaside town, this week I'm featuring the QE2.

With modern engineering and materials, they're always trying for bigger, faster, and scarier.
