ABC Wed. - "M" = "Many" Leaves

Today is ABC Wed. with the letter "M" for "many" leaves. The leaves are coming down and the fall colors are starting to come out. My grandson, age 6, took this photo. He got down a little farther to the ground and snaped this.

Camera Critters - Stink Bug

I'm pretty sure this is a stink bug but I don't know the proper name for it. It was on our porch yesterday. If you enlarge it you can get a really good view.

ABC Wed. - "L" = "Loop"

Another ABC Wed. and the letter "L" for "Loop". I love this metal film loop and tickets. I wish I knew where they got them but this hangs on the wall of a residence home. They have a big screen TV with these on each side. I thought it was pretty cool.

Camera Critters - White and Black Caterpillar

Today I noticed this white caterpillar with a black stripe.
Anyone know if this means a mild winter or a cold/blustery winter?

Camera Critters - Ducks

I found out the story behind these ducks roaming our development. This year was the first time I'd seen ducks roaming the neighborhood. Another neighbor said someone got these ducks when babies, raised them and then tried to let them go. He drove them about an hour away to a lake but they keep coming back no matter where he takes them. So, now they just keep visiting neighbor to neighbor. I guess they'll always come back because our neighborhood is their home. I see them about everyday. Not sure if they will leave for the winter or not.
