Gazebo

Here's the gazebo at Tallyrand Park. They have it all decorated with a tree inside. Right next to that area they are working on doing some construction, but I'm not sure what. They've been working at the park for awhile now in different areas.

Ducks Following Family

As soon as the ducks see someone they are ready to see if you have food. As we were getting into the car to leave, I noticed this family walking by. (See yesterday's post)

Grandson with Ducks at Tallyrand Park

Ducks surrounding my grandson at Tallyrand Park. They thought he had food. When I first moved to Bellefonte, years ago, ducks covered this park. It was packed with them where you couldn't even walk. Then they put a ban on feeding them so some of them would leave. They have a fish food machine at the end of the bridge where you can put a quarter in and feed the fish.

The Waffle Shop

The Waffle Shop is a good place to eat for breakfast foods or lunch. They close at 3pm so you can't order dinner here. They have good coffee and I love ordering the strawberry waffle.

Cool Beans Coffee & Tea

This is a cute coffee and tea place in Bellefonte. In the summer months you can walk by and see people sipping their drinks outside.
I didn't see the reflection of the buildings in the windows on the opposite street till I looked at the photo later.

Frosty Coke

Give me a frosty Coke please, without the Coke. I prefer Diet Pepsi myself, but my husband drinks Coke. This morning when I woke up to take the dogs out to do their business, I noticed the coke bottle with all the frost on it.

What's your favorite soda? And, do you call it soda or pop?

Crystal Ball

This is just hanging on my back porch. It's one of those things that when it moves it looks like the ball is moving, but I think it really stays in one spot.

Nov. Theme Day-Color Blue -Ceramic Wall

A ceramic wall at the corner in Huntingdon. It's about an hour drive from Bellefonte, but when I seen it, I had to use this for theme day. Alot of work had to go into this. Double click to enlarge. You can see the details better that way.

Added Note: I emailed the Huntingdon Historical Society to find out exactly what this mural means. Here's what they had to say;
------
"The mural on the wall in Huntingdon was sponsored by the Arts Council and created by an artist from Philadelphia. Each of the earthen medallions is representative of part of the heritage of Huntingdon. They read from right to left.

Fossils surrounded by green tile, marble chips and designed into a giant nautilus. Fossils were used in the creation of the mosaic.
The Standing stone, surrounded by circles of green tile representing nature and its importance to American life and Native American Culture.
Blair Building, representing Huntingdon Industry, and a pair of hands represents the workers of Huntingdon who created the built environment. The diamond shape of the plaque represents the diamond in down-town Huntingdon – once the town square.
RR and canal, representing transportation corridors.
local craftspeople, surrounded by local pottery shards.

Underlying the mural is a band of blue marbles, glass and mirrors that represent the Juniata River and its contributories."
